Dashboard Overview
The dashboard is your central command centre for managing CRA compliance across all your products. When you log in to CRA Evidence, this is where you land.
What You See
The dashboard adapts to your organisation's CRA role. Manufacturers see compliance scores and vulnerability tracking. Distributors see due care verification status. Everyone sees their products organised by status and environment.
Compliance Score
The large card at the top left shows your overall CRA readiness. This percentage represents how many of your product versions meet all CRA requirements.
The score is calculated as follows: Ready versions count as 100% and Incomplete versions as 0%. If you have 10 versions and 7 are Ready and 3 are Incomplete, your score is 700 / 1000 = 70%.
The card border changes colour based on your status. Green means you're on track. Yellow means you have work to do. Red means critical items need attention.
Top Actions
Next to your score, you'll see up to four priority tasks. These are the most important things blocking your compliance. Each action has a severity level (Critical, High, or Normal) and a Fix button that takes you directly to where you need to go.
Common top actions include adding missing SBOMs, uploading required documents like risk assessments, and setting support periods for versions. The list clears automatically as you complete items.
Quick Actions
The quick actions card provides one-click access to common workflows. What you see depends on your role:
Manufacturers get buttons for creating new products and exporting technical files. Distributors see verification-related actions. Everyone sees links to vulnerabilities and artifacts.
Plan Usage
Below the main cards, you'll see your current usage against plan limits. This includes team member count, product count, and storage used. If any metric approaches its limit, the progress bar turns yellow (70-90%) or red (above 90%).
Products Table
The main workspace shows all your products in a filterable table. Each row displays the product name, environment, version count, worst CRA status across versions, and artifact counts.
Click any product name to view its details. Hover over a row to reveal action buttons for comparing versions, adding new versions, or managing the product.
Filtering Products
Use the filter bar above the table to narrow down what you see. The search box filters by product name. The environment dropdown shows products in a specific environment.
Click the "+ Filter" button for advanced options:
CRA Status lets you show only Ready or Incomplete versions.
Support Period filters by version lifecycle. Active Support shows versions still within their support window. Expiring Soon shows versions ending within 180 days. Expired shows versions past their end-of-support date.
Artifacts checkboxes filter to products that have (or don't have) specific artifact types like SBOMs, HBOMs, or VEX documents.
Tags shows your most-used product tags for quick filtering.
Active filters appear as chips below the filter bar. Click the X on any chip to remove that filter, or use Clear All to reset everything.
Clickable Stats
The row of stat cards above the products table is interactive. Click the Inventory card to show all products. Click Ready or Incomplete to filter to that status. Click SBOMs, HBOMs, or VEX to show products with those artifacts.
Compliance Trend
If you have the expanded dashboard view, you'll see a compliance trend section showing:
CRA Timeline displays countdown timers to key deadlines. The reporting obligations begin September 11, 2026. Full enforcement starts December 11, 2027. If a deadline is less than 180 days away, this card shows a warning border.
Trend Chart shows how your compliance percentage has changed over time. Below the chart, you'll see your velocity (how much you're improving per week) and a projected completion date based on current progress.
Top Blockers lists the most common reasons preventing versions from reaching Ready status. Address the top blocker to make the biggest impact on your score.
Comparing Versions
Click "Compare Versions" on any product row to open a side panel showing all versions of that product side by side. The comparison shows:
- SBOM, HBOM, and VEX counts for each version
- Document status (Risk Assessment, Declaration, Manual, Policy)
- Vulnerability counts by severity
- Support period status and days remaining
- Overall compliance percentage
This helps you identify which version is most compliant and plan migration strategies for older versions.
Exporting Technical Files
The Export button in quick actions opens a modal where you select a product and version. Choose whether to include SBOMs and documents, then download a ZIP file containing your complete CRA technical file as required by Annex VII.
The export includes a machine-readable manifest, human-readable README, compliance checklist, all your SBOMs, and all uploaded documents organised by type.
ENISA Notifications
If you're a manufacturer with overdue vulnerability notifications, an alert banner appears at the top of the dashboard. Click it to go directly to the vulnerabilities page where you can record your ENISA submissions.
This alert only appears when you have actively exploited vulnerabilities that have passed their notification deadline.
Distributor View
If your organisation operates as a distributor only, you see a different dashboard focused on Article 20 due care obligations. Instead of a compliance score, you see verification statistics: total verifications completed, how many are pending, issues found, and any stop-ship flags.
The quick actions for distributors focus on starting new verifications and viewing manufacturer records.
Getting Help
The welcome guide can be reopened anytime from the Help menu. It walks through the main areas of the dashboard and explains what each section does.
If you're new to CRA Evidence, start by creating your first product and uploading an SBOM. The Top Actions card will guide you through the remaining compliance tasks.
